Issues
Since eXPatCOM is still in its infancy, there are a number of open issues:
- Platforms
Currently the code has only been compiled and tested on my Mandrake Linux 9.0 platform. - Callbacks
At the current time I have only implemented some callbacks supported by expat. - Javascript Methods
I don't know how to determine the existence of specific callback methods on the wrapped javascript Actions object. - Attributes
I'm not happy with the way I pass attributes into the start element callback. - Character Format
The expat parser supports various character code formats and the current choice for eXPatCOM seems somewhat arbitrary. - Packaging
I have not yet attempted to build a simple package for downloading this component for any platform. - Naming/Directory
The name of the project and its current location in the Mozilla directory tree are somewhat arbitrary.

we can't believe that there is no better spam protection at the notes-pages. you should give tools like a chance, otherwise you should not use url conversion any longer or you have to implement a redirect service that intercepts backlink inheritance. be warned, without appropriate changes the spam will come over you, it's only a question of time. - [2] Submitted by: Karl on Friday September 12th 2003
